I was born in 1965 in Luxembourg and I live together with my family in Frisange-Luxembourg.
My parents always said that I was influenced by my uncle to paint, because he had been an excellent figurative style painter.

Honored in 2008 with the “Médaille d’Or National” (National Gold Medal) by the European Academy of Art.
In 2009, honored with the 2.place in Acryl by participating at the 12.International Exhibition "Künstler der Region" in the Eisenbahnhalle Losheim Am See.

 ARTIST STATEMENT
There is no day without painting, because painting keeps your brain running by creating art.
My interest in painting is with direct paint application by using pure colour combinations with mixed media.
I paint abstract art in acrylic on canvas or wood.
My intent is to paint what I feel at that moment. So, I never know in the beginning what’s on canvas after having finished, it’s depending on my mood what colours and other materials I use. My hand is leading the brush just spontaneously.
Conclusion: My art is the result of my emotion and so it’s an excellent way of communication with human being. |
